Farsi Translation Problems
Message: I am looking for "problems that occure in translation", from Farsi SL to TL English. this is a project I am working on it.

Also some prepositions change when you translate form English into Persian, or vice versa.
In Farsi we say "من به این مشکل فکر میکنم" while in English we say: I am thinking about this problem. so if someone uses "to", I will be absolutely wrong.

Also one should be careful about the articles. In Farsi one can say "من کتاب میخوانم" Which in English reads as I read book. This is of course wrong. You should either say: I read a book, or I read books.

Another problem we have is Persian gerunds do not have a direct match with English gerund. Like if someone says (من دارم از خانه می آیم) It should translate as: I have come from home.

Well present perfect tense sentences may seem past tense in Persian text. You have to be careful about that. Like this sentence "من قبلاً در تهران زندگی کردم" Which translates to: I have lived in Tehran before.
